What carry-on items can I bring through the airport security gates at SFO?
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) website provides visitors with an up-to-date and comprehensive list of permitted items that are allowed to pass through the security check points.
Items are organized into the following categories:
- Sharp objects
- Sporting goods
- Guns and Firearms
- Tools
- Martial Arts and Self Defense items
- Explosive and flammable materials, disabling chemicals and other dangerous items
- Other items
