San Francisco International Airport and TSA does allow you travel without a photo ID, but you  must verify your identity to the Transportation Security Officer by performing other Travel Document Checking duties. Passengers who are cleared through this process may be subject to additional screening. Passengers who cannot provide TSA with a valid photo ID or another approved form of identification may not be allowed to go through the security checkpoint or board an airplane. For more information, visit the TSA website.
