Yes, AC Transit has 31 lines that provide service to San Francisco and the peninsula from the East Bay. AC Transit service to San Francisco runs through the Bay Bridge to the Transbay Terminal located at 1st and Mission street in San Francisco. All AC Transit lines have letter not number designations.
AC Transit also operates night bus service to and from San Francisco. Line 800 runs between Market St. and Van Ness Ave. in San Francisco to the Richmond BART, through downtown Oakland and downtown Berkeley during late night hours.
