How big is the city of San Francisco?
Our city covers 49.2 square miles of land, or as we more commonly boast, about 7 by 7 miles. From the San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean, and from the Golden Gate Bridge down to AT&T Park (home of the 2010 World Series champion Giants) – our city is a lot of life packed in one peninsula.
