How do I file a discrimination complaint about MUNI?
The SFMTA website reports that under Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, no person is excluded from the services of the SFMTA and MUNI. If you feel you have been subject to discrimination or denied the benefits of public transportation services due for reasons such as your race, color or national origin, you may file a complaint. All complaints must be in writing and are submitted to:
Julie B. Kirschbaum
Transit Service Planning Manager, 7th Floor, One South Van Ness Avenue
San Francisco, CA 94103
You can also print out a PDF version of the discrimination complaint form and sign it and turn it in to Julie Kirschbaum. Chinese and Spanish language versions of the Title IV notice are available online.
