Adults in San Francisco can make a shelter reservation throughout the day at any of the four Shelter Reservation sites in the city. Reservations are taken until shelter beds are filled. Unclaimed shelter bed spaces will be made available at Shelter Reservation sites after 6pm.

4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.    

Once at one of the shelter sites you will have to enroll in CHANGES to reserve a shelter bed. Staff at the shelter will take your photo, name, date and location of birth, gender, ethnicity, and a social security number if you have one. You do not need to be a U.S. resident to use a San Francisco shelter.

If there are spaces in a shelter the staff will make a reservation for a bed for you.
