You can report improper ventilation on San Francisco buildings by calling 311.
Ventilation issues can include a ventilation or vent system that is not maintained or missing, lack of adequate ventilation for dryers, garages, garbage rooms, or any room with a gas appliance. You can also submit a notice online.
Once you submit a notice, the city will inspect within 2 business days.
