It depends. You can register to vote if:

  • You have completed your prison term for a felony conviction
  • Or you have been released from parole for a felony conviction
  • Or you are on federal or state probation
  • Or you are incarcerated in county jail either awaiting trial or serving a sentence for a misdemeanor offense.
