Is there street sweeping on federal holidays in San Francisco?
It depends on the holiday and the type of street sweeping. 7-day street sweeping is enforced on all federal holidays except New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. All meters on Port of San Francisco property are enforced 7 days a week all year, including holidays.
The following are a list of recognized holidays in San Francisco:

- Martin Luther King Jr. Day – January 17th
- President’s Day – February 21st
- Memorial Day – May 30th
- Independence Day – July 4th
- Labor Day – September 5th
- Columbus Day – October 10th
- Veteran's Day – November 11th
- Thanksgiving – November 24th
- Day After Thanksgiving – November 25th
- Christmas Day, and Day After Christmas – December 25th & 26th
