What is the City Second Loan Program (CSLP) offered by the SF Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH)?
The City Second Loan Program (CSLP) offered to first-time homebuyers by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) is a program designed for those purchasing a home within specific housing developments such as Parkview Heights, Holloway Terrace, Armancio Ergina, and Cayuga Terrace.
The loan has no interest and deferred payments, sits in second position on title after the first mortgage, and can be repaid at any time without penalty. The maximum City Second loan is $100,000 or 20% of the purchase, whichever is less. A list of properties that are eligible for the CSLP can be found here.
