What was the first street in the City?
According to the SF Geneology website, the first street in San Francisco was the Grant Street. Originally called Calle De La Fundacion, or Street of the Founding, it started near the present corner of Kearny and Pine streets and ran towards North Beach and Telegraph Hill.
