When do I have to pay my supplemental tax bill in San Francisco?
When a supplemental tax bill in San Francisco is due depends on when they are mailed to the Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector.
If your supplemental tax bill is mailed between July 1 and October 30, your taxes will have delinquent at 5 pm on December 10 for the first installment and 5 pm on April 10 for the second installment. If your supplemental tax bill is mailed between November 1 and June 30, the delinquency dates will be printed on the bill. The first supplemental tax bill installment will become delinquent at 5 ppm on the last day of the month following when the month the bill was mailed. The second installment of your supplemental tax bill will be delinquent at 5 pm four months after the first installment was delinquent.
If you do not pay your supplemental tax bill installments on time, penalties of 10% will be added to any installment that is not paid on time. An additional $45 charge is added if you have a late second installment.
