Who is eligible for the Teacher Next Door (TND) Program offered by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH)?
To be eligible for the Teacher Next Door (TND) Program offered to first-time homebuyers by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) residents of San Francisco must meet a number of requirements. Most notably, applicants must be purchasing their first home in San Francisco and must be currently employed as a full time teacher with the San Francisco Unified School District. The applicants must have an income not exceeding 200% of the area median income for San Francisco – in the case of a family of four, $203,000. The applicants must also not have liquid assests totaling over $25,000 after the property purchase and complete a first-time homebuyer education course.
