Who was the first Asian American mayor of San Francisco?
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors elected Edwin Lee in November 2010 to replace Gavin Newsom after his election as Lieutenant Governor of California. Mayor Ed Lee is a former civil rights lawyer and is the first Asian American to serve as mayor of San Francisco.
