As Election Day Approaches, Let’s Reset #GOTV!
With the November election fast approaching, we’re keeping our eyes open for ways that San Franciscans can get involved. And although civic participation in California is becoming easier than ever, it’s important to reach voters in swing states and those still undecided. So whether you want to remind constituents of their choices in November or help citizens exercise their right to vote, it’s a great time to get the word out!
Campaign Volunteering with a Splash of SF Nightlife
On Wednesday, October 3rd, Technology for Obama (T4O) is hosting a phone bank at Temple Nightclub. Voter outreach will be followed by a watch party of the first inaugural Presidential Debate! It will be a great opportunity to watch Obama and Romney face off while mingling with other San Francisco volunteers and surprise guests. It should be a great event in the heat of election season! You can RSVP here.
Remember to tune into to the first Obama-Romney debate on October 3rd. If you need something to watch in the meantime, check out this video of President Obama riling up a San Francisco crowd:
We at Reset want to remind you of the importance of the upcoming election. But apart from electoral politics, Reset is also committed to connecting and empowering the civic community in San Francisco. With every election cycle, we hope to come one step closer to a citizenry that uses all of the tools at its disposal to engage their friends, their neighbors and their government regarding the issues that matter to them.
