San Francisco Streetsblog Wants Your Photos
January 13, 2012
Navigating San Francisco streets can be tricky, if not downright dangerous. We’ve all seen instances of double-parked cars blocking traffic lanes and slowing down Muni, poorly designed intersections and cars dooring bikes.
Now SF Streetsblog is soliciting your photos of all this chaos and dysfunction. They will use these images and eyewitness accounts to paint a clearer picture of needed infrastructure reforms and policy changes in San Francisco. Images can make a powerful argument for change. Streetsblog is particularly interested in photos that convey:
- Cars blocking crosswalks, sidewalks, and buses and bikes lanes
- Drivers who don’t yield to pedestrians in crosswalks
- Video that shows common delays on Muni, like vehicle breakdowns, car jams and excessive stops
We know we’ve all been there and seen these things. So rather than cursing a double parked car blocking your bus or a car that almost clipped you in an intersection, take a photo or video and share your story with [email protected].
